Its been a bad summer for the weather, but here at MT things are just about to heat up. The 1st September is the release date for first installment of The Littlemen’s Retro Resources album. The release is a four-track sampler, and features two of The Littlemen’s biggest hits 'Decked Out', originally on Drop Music, and 'Attack Me', originally released on Lowdown Music with remixes from the legendary Lawnchair Generals as well as The Littlemen themselves.

The whole album will be released shortly after, featuring classic Littlemen tracks such as 'Stoned', 'Tell Me', 'Wind It Up, 'Hit Dat Dog', 'Rock Again, 'Tied Up In Notts' and 'Foolin Around'. These tracks were on all the big labels including Drop Music, Tango Recordings, Lowdown Music and, of course Mobile Trax, and will feature remixes from LCG, Justin Harris, Eastcoast Boogiemen, Inland Knights, Swirl People, Kinky Movement, Special Interest.

Meanwhile, here at Mobile Trax we have been working on a new project to celebrate 10 years of The Littlemen. This will be a classics and remix album and will be dropping later this year. The concept is for some of the lads' favourite producers to remix classic Littlemen tracks from years gone by, from labels such as Lowdown Music, Drop Music, Tango Recordings and, of course, Mobile Trax. Named "Retro Resources" the album will feature remixes from Lawnchair Generals, Ken ECB, Justin Harris, Inland Knights, Raoul Belmans of Swirl People, Special Interest, Kinky Movement and The Littlemen themselves. Tracks getting the treatment include Tell Me, Decked Out, Hit Dat Dog, Stoned, Attack Me, Rock Again and Tied up In Notts.

Label boss Steve Lee has also just set up a new studio, along with Andy Mcloughlin of Kinky Movement, entitled Red 3 Studios. Steve will be running his new business from here, called called Musix Gold Productions. Please feel free to check the page dedicated to this on the site. Steve will be teaching the music software he has used for the last 12 years - Logic Audi. He will also be offering recording facilities for artists/singer songwriters for an hourly rate or full production for artists wanting a finished product.
